Executive Chairman Mr. Suraj Bickram Shahi of Lumbini Earthcraft Pvt. Ltd. calls on Ambassador Ruwanthi Delpitiya

Executive Chairman of Lumbini Earthcraft Pvt. Ltd., called on H.E. Ms. Ruwanthi Delpitiya, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to Nepal, at the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Kathmandu on 21st July 2026 at 1030 hrs. During the meeting, Mr. Suraj Bickram Shahi briefed the Ambassador on the present activities of Lumbini Earthcraft Pvt. Ltd., authorized by the Lumbini Development Trust under the Government of Nepal. Both sides subsequently discussed the prospects of further collaboration in the Lumbini region, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. The discussion also touched on the deep-rooted Buddhist and cultural ties between Nepal and Sri Lanka, and the scope these provide for cooperation in heritage, pilgrimage and cultural exchange between the two countries.
